ADHD and Discipline

Although it can seem that Autism is our biggest focus around here, it’s actually ADHD that has us scratching our heads as parents. All kids are different, but kids with ADHD are particularly tricky to discipline. They don’t respond to traditional methods, and “old fashioned” authoritarian styles can also be widely unsuccessful. I wrote this article for FW Moms on finding our child’s currency, and how that has improved our relationship with him and decreased our struggles with discipline.
