The Neurodivergent Vacation

I recently started writing for FW Moms and thoroughly enjoy it. The group is smart, supportive, and rich with different perspectives and life experiences. I’ve never thought of myself as a writer, more of a constant struggler of ‘thought articulation’, and this new gig is a challenge. It’s forcing me to slow my mind down enough to explain what’s in there. I’m linking the first article I wrote for them, The Neurodivergent Vacation: Traveling:: Traveling With An Autistic Child.

Child attempting to eat a new, colorful food wearing a weary facial expression

Trying new cake colors; it was a hard pass.
